By encouraging children to be creative, passionate, curious, and active in daily education, our teachers and staff at Prodigy Preschool believe that all children will lead full and successful lives. Every child receives the individualized attention and assistance that he or she needs due to our low student to teacher ratio. We conduct background checks for all of our teachers prior to them starting at Prodigy Preschool, so you can be assured that your child is receiving a high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.
All Prodigy Preschool lead teachers are required to have a degree in Education. The degree held by our lead teachers vary among Associates Degrees in Early Childhood Education or in Child Development upward to a Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Education. In order to be an Assistant teacher at Prodigy Preschool, at minimum he or she must have experience in the field of education, and many either already have a degree in Education, or are currently pursuing one.
Each teacher is required to pass an Ohio BCII and FBI background check and must complete testing on the Ohio Department Of Jobs and Family Services Licensing Rules for Early Childhood Centers. All teachers participate in regular training in Child Development, Classroom Management, and many other areas of Early Childhood Education. Additionally, the teachers at Prodigy Preschool are required to complete and maintain training in First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Recognition and Communicable Disease Management. All teachers are required to maintain a professional appearance and attitude, and must present themselves in a manner that reflects an appropriate role model for young children.
